Sekarang Legian menjadi lebih terkenal dari sebelumnya, karena adanya bom Bali I tahun 2002 dan telah berdiri Monumen Groundzero untuk mengenang peristiwa tersebut. Jalan Legian, tempat berdirinya monumen tersebut adalah tempat yang ramai dengan banyaknya Cafe, Club, toko-toko artshop di sepanjang jalan bahkan sampai ke gang-gang.
